An Exercise in Interactivity

Sprinkled throughout Multimedia in Action, these step-by-step activities give students a chance for some hands-on experience with the medium.

I'm not sure how I arrived at this shape. Is it an artist's palette? Is it an oven mitt? I think it may be a subconscious throwback to the days when we used French curves, rather than Bezier curves, to draw graceful lines. If you think a French curve has something to do with Gallic baseball, send me an e-mail and I'll explain it to you.
